Workshop on Petroleum Project Changes and Claims (PPCC)

 

 About the Course

 All significant project changes and claims faced over the course of a project will be covered in this course. How to manage and control changes, prevent conflicts and claims, and prepare claims will be the main topics of discussion. Along with various contract kinds, the necessary terms and conditions for project revisions, disputes, and claims will also be covered.

 Instead of the usual lecture structure, this course will be an interactive, hands-on workshop where participants will work on many real-life case study scenarios directly related to the selected themes after a quick slide presentation for each agenda issue. Onshore and offshore projects will also be covered in the session.

 

Target Audience

 Working on significant onshore or offshore oil and gas projects are project managers, project controls managers, project engineers, discipline leads, procurement managers, contract managers, and construction managers and supervisors.

 

Course Objectives

  • How changes should be handled to reduce their negative effects on project scope, cost, and schedule How to use earned value to manage a project's cost and schedule effect
