SIM-BAO batch operations
About the Course
A student-driven learning methodology based on the INSTOTM Methodology is combined with high fidelity, generic process simulators in an interactive 2-day course. The two-day Simulation Solutions courses emphasize critical thinking abilities for operators that can be applied back in the control room and educate operators how to create mental models of diverse operations.
Each student will have access to their own generic simulators, such as Mix Tank, pH Control, and Batch Reactor, during this course. Each piece of equipment will be able to be started up by the trainees, and they will also have time to spend solving typical issues with the tanks and reactors. Over the course of the lesson, emphasis is placed on operations that support both safety and optimization. The course's content is suited to chemical, petrochemical, and other batch reactor-operating facilities.
