Practices for Basic Petroleum Engineering - BE

About the Course

This course serves as a fundamental introduction to the majority of the field of petroleum engineering, which covers issues connected to reservoir, production, and drilling engineering, among others. This course prepares students for more advanced, specialized training for employees of oil companies and service companies. The course comprises fundamental engineering problems, simple field tasks, and classroom activities that emphasize the field and application approach. The basis for technical professionals' understanding of technology and its engineering applications will be laid by Basic Petroleum Engineering Practices. The history and present situation of the oil and gas business are briefly introduced at the beginning of the course. The discussion then moves on to reservoir fluids, petroleum geology, and petroleum reservoirs. Before concluding with surface processing of produced fluids, many aspects of exploration technology, drilling engineering and operations, well completion technology, and production technology are covered.

Target Audience

Engineers, engineering students, technical managers and assistants, technicians, geologists, geophysicists, chemists, physicists, service company staff, sales representatives, and data processing staff are among the professions represented.
