Planning and controlling maintenance work
About the Course
Safe facility operations require efficient maintenance work control, regardless of the price of oil. The asset management standard that everyone is aiming towards is ISO 55000 (PAS 55).
The major skill set needed to meet these new standards is work control, which is the focus of this course. The six phases of task management—job identification, planning, prioritization, scheduling, execution, and history capture will be the main focus of the article. These fundamental abilities are crucial to integrity management, safety, effective resource use, and dependable operation. The improvement in competency will be evaluated using a pre and post self-assessment. Each participant will create an action plan to aid their organizations in the long-term quest to become more effective and safe in order to improve facility asset management.
Target Audience
Work management, planning, and scheduling are done by planners, superintendents, supervisors, team leaders, and maintenance managers.
