Petroleum Industry Overview - OVP

 About the Course

From the perspective of the Asset Life Cycle, OVP provides an overview of the petroleum industry. The Exploration, Appraisal, Development, and Production phases will be explained to the participants, with a focus on the actions they may directly do throughout each phase to assist value development. A wide range of upstream business acumen spanning economic, business, geological, and engineering themes will be presented through lecture, multimedia, and interactive tasks in class. All forms of resource plays, including deepwater, shale oil/gas, and improved oil recovery technologies, will be discussed.

"The information is very up to date." - Mexico participant

Loved how we introduced a commercial piece and chemistry fundamentals before moving on to content. Well done! You've got it in balance. - Participant (American)

 Target Audience
