Mechanical Design and Specification for Piping Systems, ME-41
About the Course
The main topics related to the design of piping systems for oil and gas facilities are reviewed in this intermediate level course for engineers and piping system designers. Codes and standards, pipe materials and fabrication, piping components, and pipeline layout and design are the four areas on which the course is concentrated. The training includes topics including relevant piping codes for oil and gas facilities (ISO, B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, etc.), pipe sizing calculations, pipe installation, and materials selection. The correct material selection and piping system specification are prioritized.
Target Audience
For mechanical, facilities, plant, or pipeline engineers who are involved in the design of in-plant piping systems for oil and gas facilities, this PetroSkills training course is excellent.
